“DO YOU WHOLESALE TO SCHOOLS AND WORKSHOPS?”
YES. YES. YES. While The Freelancer is too small of an operation to sponsor schools and workshops, we are happy to wholesale you copies starting at a minimum of 8 copies. Please contact us via email with your details and how many copies you are looking to purchase, and we would be happy to accommodate. If you are looking for something custom please reach out and we will see what we can do.
“AM I ALLOWED TP PRINT / COPY / DISTRIBUTE DIGITAL PRODUCTS”
AB-SO-LU-TLY-NOT. In purchasing ANY digital content from The Freelancer (Dark Arts Creative, LLC) you understand that you have 24 hours to download your content with the link provided and another link will not be sent. You understand that NO DIGITAL ITEMS WILL BE PRINTED AND/OR DISTRIBUTED AND ARE FOR DIGITAL USE ONLY. You understand the content provided is copy written and there are printing locks preventing retailers from printing these files for you. You understand that there are no refunds on any digital items, period. You understand that any violation of copy-write will result in legal action and a shop ban for life. It sucks that I even have to ask for copyright law to be abided by. Every planner, every year is under legal copyright.
“HOW DO I SCORE A PR COPY?”
SORRY TO DISAPPOINT. The entire brand is just one person; designing, investing, prepping, packing, and shipping every single order by hand. All stock each year is purchased in a small run and it is intended for pro use. Someday a PR list may be on the table but at the moment “PR” copies are not something the brand is large enough to provide. As a single full-time working artist it would also be incredibly difficult to handle the volume of orders that come along with “influencer” recommendations and that volume is not feasible at this moment. The exclusivity that comes with limited runs is sexy. I FIRMLY believe in honest reviews based on the owners true experience of their purchases.
“WHEN WILL MY PLANNER ARRIVE?”
We ship USPS from Burbank, CA. United States Federal holidays are observed and no shipments leave on Sundays. It can take 2-14 days from shipment within the United States. It can 9-20 days international and although rare, customs delays may occur. We apologize in advance for any delays in delivery caused by the current pandemic and labor shortage. If you are local to Los Angeles and want to arrange a pick up email us before you place your order.
“IS THE PLANNER AVAILABLE INTERNATIONALLY?”
Yes! We realize international shipping costs from the US are a little intense. We were recently able to get a better deal on international shipping so you may have noticed the shipping price has lowered. Another option is to purchase fro AMAZON.US. They are fortunately able to offer a much more reduced international rate so we have allotted some of our stock to be sold via Amazon to offset shipping costs to you.
“OH NO! WHAT I WANT IS SOLD OUT!”
Everything is made in exclusive limited runs. The day planners and all artist collaborations are rotated to keep things fresh. Day planners will change art styles each year and are printed in limited runs. If anything you want is sold out sign up to be informed when/if the item is back in stock. If you cannot live without what you’ve got your eye on contact us via our contact page and we will do our best to accommodate. Thats the beauty of being a small company and creating mostly in house! The best way to stay informed on everything freelance is to sign up for our newsletter, which is only sent out for release updates. Don’t worry - we won’t fill your inbox with your typical retail spam. We hate getting those emails as much as you! You can also unsubscribe at any time and we will never ever ever ever ever sell or share your email information with anyone.

This company was built for freelancers by a freelancer with the input of many other freelancers. If you’ve got a great idea, or want to express a concern, we would love to hear it. “RETURNS”
We are not set up to accept returns at this time. Sorry guys, this is a micro company owned and operated by one person. Day planners are hand inspected for quality assurance before they are shipped. If you receive any item damaged please contact us via the contact page and we will happily accommodate. Once the items leave us they are in the care of shipping carriers who don’t always see your precious cargo as valuable as we do and crazy things happen. Trust us, we’ve seen it all. “ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE OTHER VERSIONS OF THE DAY PLANNER?”
Yes. we sure are! we like to keep some things a surprise and all exclusive announcements will be available through our newsletter and instagram @makeupartistplanner. We started this project with the intent of providing the very best information and guidance possible for our niche market. future versions will include collaborations with the most experienced in their field and will include tools specifically for those freelance business types.
